This Frankonian Riesling impresses with its grand, fruity aroma, subtle acidity and fine mineral character. The appellation 'Alte Reben' or 'Old Vines' defines the vine's age of at least 20 years, and in this estate, the grapes used for making such wines come from vines with an average age of 40 years. Old vines have thick and much deeper roots enabling them to take up more extracts and minerals from the soil, giving the wine its powerful character. This Riesling Alte Reben is characterized by a pleasant note of peach - both in its bouquet and its taste. Although vigorous in taste, the fine style originates from the elegant acidic balance. Harvested on the 13th of October 2023, this wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 10-12 degrees Celsius. It is suitable for drinking until 2032.
