For early flowering, sow three seeds at a depth of 13mm per 10cm pot indoors or in a greenhouse at temperatures of 13-15°C. Transplant outdoors in April or May, spacing them 15cm apart. Alternatively, sow directly into moist, warm, weed-free soil in late April to May. Thin seedlings to maintain a final spacing of 15cm. Seeds may also be sown from September to October in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse, with young plants being transplanted in March or April to ensure an early bloom.
