Experience the joy of gardening with the Thompson and Morgan Pea Rondo Seeds. It is an outstanding, double-podded variety that surpasses the performance of Onward in every aspect. Known for producing rich green, straight, long pods that contain an average of 10 plump peas, this variety is perfect for freezing. For optimal growth, sow peas outdoors from March to June once the soil has warmed, or in mild areas, sow some hardy, early-maturing cultivars in late autumn for overwintering. Select a weed-free, moist, fertile site in full sun and sow the seeds in flat-bottomed drills, spacing them 5cm apart and planting them 4cm deep with 75cm between rows. For continuous cropping, sow every 10 days and support the plants with twigs, wire, or netting as they grow, using fine netting to protect against birds and pea moth damage. Regular and thorough watering, especially during flowering, will significantly improve yields. Harvest around 14 weeks after sowing, when pods are swollen, and regular picking will encourage further production. This variety is hardy, reaches a height of up to 75cm and a spread of up to 25cm, and is supplied as a packet containing 200 seeds. Images may vary based on growing conditions and seasonal changes. The pack contains approximately 200 seeds.
