This 75cl wine is from 55-year-old vines in the Niederhäuser Klamm vineyard, situated on a steep, south-facing slope with phorphyr rock. The wine is made using whole-cluster pressing and fermented in a small stainless-steel tank, with 60% natural yeast fermentation. The result is a wine with fine fruit, clear structure, and extremely concentrated, very intense, ripe aromas of dried fruit. The wine is described as strikingly long and elegant, with notes of iris perfume, guava nectar, blueberries, and green figs. It's a wine that's hard to describe, but is sure to please.
