Schneider 2023 Niederhauser Herrmannshöhle Riesling dry is a wine. It comes in a 75cl bottle. After a late harvest in mid-October and a short mashing time, followed by a long fermentation with natural yeasts in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, the wine is produced. The wine radiates a tremendous power and spice, bound by a tight minerality and a fine salty note. It is very concentrated and has fine mineral flavours. The vineyard's soil is very heterogeneous, featuring slate, volcano rock (porphyry and melaphyr), and sandstone. The slope is exposed to the south-southwest and is up to 60% steep. The 35-year-old vines contribute to the wine's complexity. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. and a residual sugar level of 4.8 g/l, this wine is well-balanced. Its acidity is 7.9 g/l. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
