A super refreshing white from the southern edge of Lake Garda, Zeni's Lugana Vigne Alte is a crowd-pleaser. It opens with ripe peach, zesty citrus and a gentle floral lift. The Zeni family, with over 150 years of winemaking experience, is one of the most respected names around Lake Garda. Their story began in 1870 with Bartolomeo Zeni, a travelling merchant whose love of wine soon took centre stage. It was his son Gaetano, nicknamed Nino, who transformed the family's fortunes, moving production in the 1950s to a stunning hilltop site overlooking the lake and laying the foundations for the modern winery we see today. Still family-run, Zeni is now in its fifth generation.
