The Vic Firth Corpsmaster Bass Mallet X-Small Head Hard is an extra-small mallet designed for use with 14-inch to 18-inch bass drums. Corspmaster marching bass mallets have tapered hickory shafts helping to shift the weight towards the hand. This helps to improve balance and control of the mallet for precision playing. The spherical heads deliver a consistent surface for striking providing a stronger and more refined sound. The hard head is better for more producing more attack giving you a more brash striking tone.
