The Vandoren M/O Alto Saxophone Ligature combines the lightweight construction of the Vandoren Masters ligature with the efficient inverted tightening system of the OPTIMUM ligature. The tightening system provides a tight secure fit with two small contact points allowing the reed to vibrate freely. This provides results in a clear response and crisp articulation. The slightly more bright sounds produced by the metal ligature are well suited for classical players.
