£3

Bring vibrant colour and resilience to your garden with the Thompson and Morgan Broccoli TZ 7035 Purple Sprouting Seeds. Its purple sprouting stems thrive even in heat, making it a reliable choice for harvests from July to November. You’ll find sowing and growing straightforward, whether you start seeds in trays or sow directly into well-prepared beds, and you’ll enjoy generous yields perfect for kitchen gardens or allotments. This packet contains 40 seeds and comes with clear instructions so you can achieve strong, healthy plants reaching up to 90cm tall and 60cm wide when fully established. Sow thinly six millimetres deep in a seed tray of good-quality seed compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite. Place the tray in a propagator at 20-25°C (68-77F) until after germination, which usually takes four to seven days. Transplant seedlings into 7.5cm pots and grow on until plants have two to three true leaves. Alternatively, sow sprouting broccoli seeds in a well-prepared seed bed from March to June at a depth of 13mm and spaced 30cm apart. Transplant to their final positions around five weeks later, when the seedlings have four or five leaves. Product Specifications: Position: Full Sun. Height: Up to 90cm when fully established.
