The SOMA Laboratory LYRA8-FX Module is a Eurorack effects processor for experimental sound designers and modular performers. It brings the distinctive LYRA-8 effects section into your rack expanding it with CV control for deeper interaction. At the core of the LYRA8-FX is a double modulated lo-fi delay with cross-feedback capable of shifting from unstable echoes to dense resonant washes. You can even route the delay to modulate its own sample rate creating raw evolving textures that respond in unexpected ways. Alongside the delay sits a parallel distortion placed after the effect complete with CV control over drive. Blend delay and distortion independently to shape anything from subtle saturation to broken saturated tones. With a dedicated delay-only output and hands-on control across time modulation depth feedback and mix you can integrate it easily into complex patches. Built with through-hole components and solid hardware it feels dependable in any serious modular setup.
