Stirili greasy dressings composed of a compress of very tight mesh gauze, pure cotton wool (tulle), largely impregnated with white paraffin (petroleum jelly). Non-adherent, hypoallergenic, hydrophobic, promoting drainage of exudates, and neutral to allow for topical combinations.
