The Shoei J-Cruise 2 Plain White Helmet is part of the latest collection from Shoei. Features: One of the most advanced open-face helmets on the market has received a major upgrade. The Japanese brand Shoei introduces the new J-Cruise II — a premium touring helmet known for exceptional fit, lightweight design, and comfort. Considering the success of the original J-Cruise (despite minimal marketing), the updated version is expected to perform just as well — if not better. The outer shell of the J-Cruise II is constructed from Shoeis patented AIM multi-fibre composite, a robust combination of fibreglass and organic fibres. It's incredibly strong yet compact, and comes in three different shell sizes (XS–M, L, XL–XXL), ensuring the most tailored fit possible for both weight and comfort. The J-Cruise II features a large thermoplastic CJ-2 visor with enhanced shaping compared to standard visors. A clever double lip edge at the bottom helps direct wind away from the riders face and prevents airflow from curling under the visor, making it an excellent year-round choice. While the visor design remains familiar, the base plates have been upgraded. The new mechanism allows for a subtle ventilation notch — a welcome improvement over the previous generation. At the rear, a redesigned spoiler boosts aerodynamic performance, inspired by the successful Neotec II modular helmet. Additionally, the iconic Shoei ducktail diffuser returns, now paired with a completely updated ventilation system. Where the original J-Cruise had just one top intake, the new model includes three, increasing airflow by up to 30%. Like the Neotec and GT-Air II, the J-Cruise II is fully prepared for the SENA® SRL1 and SRL2 communication systems, integrating seamlessly into the helmet without disrupting airflow or aesthetics. The internal sun visor is now 5mm longer, offering protection and clarity similar to premium sunglasses. As expected from Shoei, the J-Cruise II is compatible with the brands Personal Fitting System for a fully customised interior. This model is anticipated to launch in early 2020.
