The Rohema Mr.Muff 16" MuffBite is suited to drummers who want controlled overtones without losing their drums natural character. Designed with a black felt rim and 100% cotton vintage corduroy fabric it dampens around a third of the drumhead helping you achieve a tighter more focused response while retaining the core tone of the drum.The magnetic RimMount system attaches securely to steel hoops and can also be fitted to the resonant side of the drum for additional sound-shaping options. By reducing unwanted overtones and shortening sustain the MuffBite delivers a drier more precise sound that works well in both live and studio settings. Three included metal clamps allow use with die-cast hoops too. Each clamp features a foam lining to improve grip and help protect your drum hardware while keeping the MuffBite firmly in place.
