Covering around a third of the drumhead its combination of black felt and 100% cotton vintage corduroy helps maintain the drums natural character while producing a tighter more defined response.The magnetic RimMount system attaches securely to steel hoops and can also be positioned on the resonant side of the drum for additional sound-shaping options. If youre using die-cast hoops three included metal clamps make installation just as straightforward. Foam lining inside each clamp improves grip and helps protect the hoop finish.
