Redbreast Lustau Edition is a sublime, Sherried Irish single pot still whiskey. It's the result of a collaboration between Ireland's Midleton distillery and Bodegas Lustau in Jerez. The whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills and finished in first-fill oloroso Sherry butts for 12 months. This gives it a rich, fruity flavor. Serve neat or in an Old Fashioned with an orange twist. It opens with decadent dark fruits and marzipan-iced fruitcake, stuffed with raisins and dried figs, and laced with an earthy oloroso Sherry. Its creamy and lusciously sweet with chocolate, stewed fruits, more Sherry, and delicate spices that linger on the tongue long after the whisky is gone. This whiskey is suitable for both men and women.
