The Primavera Ultra Rubber Violin Practice Mute is made of a robust firm rubber material. The rubber material has a slightly lower muting effect than metal mutes but mutes the sound of your violin more than a tourte style mute. The mute is placed onto the bridge of your instrument by simply slotting on.
