Oyama 5 Year Barrel Aged Japanese Umeshu 'Yumehibiki' is an ultra luxurious plum wine made from Oita grown plums. The plums are matured in stainless steel tanks for 3 years and then in oak barrels for an additional 2 years. This maturation process adds complex layering of flavours, aromas, colours and textures to the plum wine. The result is a rich and full-bodied drink with a smooth finish. Each bottle comes with a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth (Furoshiki) produced in Kyoto. No preservatives, artificial flavors or colorings were added. This plum wine is suitable for serving chilled, at room temperature, on the rocks, or with soda water. It is a unisex product, making it suitable for both men and women.
