BritishAmerican singersongwriter Ella Spencer releases her debut EP Oregon on May 16th, a bold and intimate collection of songs coproduced by Jerry Joseph and Steve Drizos and recorded at the Panther in Portland, Oregon. The EP, released exclusively on CD via Townsend Music, captures Ellas transatlantic roots and growing presence on the indiefolk scene. Opening with the reflective, pianodriven ballad 039I Never Told You About Oregon039, a reckoning with grief, the EP has already made an impression, with the single debuting to a soldout crowd at Londons Green Note. The followup single Warning Signs landed on BBC Introducing Suffolk amp Norfolk, while the latest track Scottys Tyres is her first collaboration with Michael Smith of RYP Recordings Wolf Alice, Bess Atwell, Anteros and the furthest shes exposed her indie rock edge yet.
