Olga Raffault is one of the most respected and recognisable names in the classic region of Chinon, in the Loire valley. This wine strikes a balance between the classic, savoury, green-ness ordinarily associated with the style, and a modern, lighter, fresher wine. It's no mistake that this wine finds itself in both our Light & Bright and Savoury & Earthy style categories. It has wonderfully tangy, red fruit notes and good acidity with lovely fine tannins. It's certainly at the lighter end of the Chinon spectrum, but still possesses the savoury qualities of cool Cabernet Franc. A unisex wine that is perfect for anyone to enjoy.
