Niepoort 'Rótulo Branco' 2020 is a blend of almost extinct varieties such as Borrado das Moscas, Rabo de Ovelha and Cercial, among others. This delicate, light and well-balanced wine reflects the granitic soils typical of the region. It is crisp and citrusy with aromas of lemon, white blossom and fresh herbs. The palate is round with a silky texture and a citrus-led acidity. It is a perfect accompaniment to delicate white fish dishes or mild-flavored cheeses. Niepoort has been an independent family business since 1842, led by the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort, supported by his sons Daniel and Marco. This wine is part of their initiative to showcase local, indigenous varieties.
