Muscari armeniacum is one of the most reliable small bulbs in the spring garden: dense spikes of cobalt blue flowers from March to April, spreading freely once established. Excellent under tulips and narcissi, where the blue-and-white or blue-and-yellow contrast never fails. Try it with Narcissus Tete-a-Tete for a classic early pairing.
