This Meyer-Näkel 2017 Walporzheimer Kräuterberg Spätburgunder Grand Cru dry is a complex Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) with fruity aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and plum, as well as dark chocolate with hints of spicy herbs and liquorice. It has a well-balanced tannin structure and elegance, with excellent ageing potential. The wine originated from the Ahr valley, where the steep, terraced vineyards create a nearly Mediterranean microclimate, producing a powerful and rich bouquet. The grapes were carefully harvested, gently pressed, and matured in barrique (oak barrels) for about 16 months. This wine is suitable for both men and women to enjoy.
