The L shaped legs combined with the ergonomic rubber braces on the feet sturdy the conga and keep it from slipping whilst playing. Additionally there are notches on the legs for adjusting the height to your preference. With touring musicians in mind the stand has a U-shaped notch which helps you to assemble and breakdown the stand before and after gigs.
