Maison Trimbach Cuvee Frederic Emile Alsace White Wine 2005 75cLBy Winebuyers

£105

Maison Trimbach, Cuvee Frederic Emile, Alsace, 2005 is a 75cl white wine from the renowned Maison Trimbach, a family-owned winery established in 1626 in Ribeauville. The winery, now in its 12th generation, is run by brothers Jean and Pierre Trimbach, along with Pierre's daughter, Anne, and Jean's son, Julien. The family owns around 50 hectares of vineyards spread over seven villages and more than 50 sites, with a particular passion for the Riesling grape variety, which makes up 45% of their total production. The style of wine produced here is characterized by high fruit concentration, juicy texture, and crystal-clear aromatics, with a great deal of mineral character from the specific vineyard. The wines are consistently dry, with great freshness and long ageing potential. Depending on the characteristics of a specific vintage, the wines are left to mature in either stainless steel, concrete, or old wood, without any lees stirring. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
