This is an excellent value, honest Italian wine made from estate-grown fruit of the Sartori family vineyards. It has an appetising bouquet of red berry fruits, peppery spice and savoury nuances. On the palate, silky-soft and rounded, neither too heavy nor too light, with pleasant persistence of flavour. Perfect pasta wine! Along the lines of a Valpolicella, it is crafted from a combination of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
