Kilchoman Machir Bay is a peated, no-age-statement single malt Scotch whisky named after the stunning beach on the west coast of the Scottish islands. Since opening in 2005, Islays only farm distillery has become an integral part of the Scottish islands whisky family. Matured in a combination of 90% Bourbon barrels and 10% oloroso Sherry casks, Machir Bay is a fresh, lively and delicately smoky whisky, reminiscent of its namesake location. It has a floral and herbaceous nose with a sweet, gentle smoke that clings to creamy lemon meringue pie. Best served neat or with lots of ice and soda water in a Highball, garnished with a lemon twist. This whisky is suitable for both men and women.
