ABOUT THE WINE. For as far back as they can trace their history, the Ellevin family has always been making wine. In 1975, Jean-Pierre Ellevin and his wife began to develop the family domaine in Chablis; in 2003, their son Alexandre joined the estate, continuing the family tradition. The domaine covers 16 hectares, planted exclusively with Chardonnay, and is located in the northern part of Burgundy, where the cool climate and limestone soils produce wines with freshness, minerality, and purity. This Petit Chablis 2024 is a classic expression of the region’s style.. TASTING NOTES. Pale yellow in colour, with an expressive nose of exotic fruits and citrus. The palate is well-balanced and fresh, showing ripe passion fruit, crisp acidity, and a chalky minerality. The finish is long, clean, and intensely mineral, highlighting the wine’s Chablisien character.. FOOD PAIRING. Ideal with appetisers, seafood, oysters, or light white fish dishes. Also enjoyable on its own as a crisp, refreshing aperitif.. FRIARWOOD SAYS. A benchmark Petit Chablis from a small, quality-focused producer. Elegant, mineral, and incredibly drinkable.
