Jakob Schneider's top-class Riesling Spätlese is a concentrated, flowery, fruity and spicy wine with a gripping acidic structure. The Riesling grapes were grown in a vineyard with steep, south-facing slopes rich in grey slate, which warms up quickly, providing optimum growing conditions. The vines in this vineyard are around 55 years old. The grapes were hand-picked and gently pressed. The wine was left to mature in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel vats with natural yeast. The wine was bottled in March 2023. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
