Built with 7-ply mahogany shells it delivers a warm rounded tone with a focused low-end that works well for jazz funk and lighter rock styles. The smaller 18 bass drum keeps the footprint manageable while still offering clear punch. Gretsch heads made by Remo come fitted as standard so you can start playing straight away with a balanced reliable sound. A 30-degree bearing edge helps the shells respond smoothly improving head contact and giving each drum a clear articulate voice. The included bass drum riser lifts the kick slightly for better beater placement and projection. With chrome hardware a single tom holder and a matching 14" x 5" snare this four-piece configuration is simple practical and easy to set up ideal when space is limited.
