Emerald green bells lightly marked with reddish-brown stripe sometimes with a chequered pattern. Fritillaria Hemonis have up to three open bell-shaped flowers. They prefer gritty soil and are perfect for pots or the rockery or an alpine bed in a cold greenhouse where these little gems can be best seen. They go well with other rockery or alpine bulbs like, crocus, dwarf iris, muscari, chionodoxa, scilla, dwarf narcissus for an extended spring display
