Tap connectors are a very common type of fitting used in heating and plumbing systems. They are used to connect a plastic push fit pipe to a hot or cold tap. This tap is bent at a 90 degree angle to allow for the pipe to be coming from a different angle than the tap and still create a push fit connection.
