The solid state fuel pumps from Facet are a compact design for use with carburettor equipped engines or as a supply pump to a fuel swirl pot. They require mounting close to the fuel tank and not above it as this will lower the performance of the pump. All pumps in the range are compatible with petrol (including E5 and E10), Diesel, Biodiesel, blended alcohol fuels and fuel additives.3 Different pump models are available -ROAD- A 12 volt negative earth pump with a flow rate of 25 gallons per hour and a delivery pressure of 3-4.5 Psi. Ideal for road cars with engines sizes up to 1600cc and up to 130 Bhp.FAST ROAD - A 12 volt negative earth pump with a flow rate of 26 gallons per hour and a delivery pressure of 4-7 Psi. Ideal for road cars with engines sizes up to 2000cc or smaller tuned engines up to 150 Bhp. It is recommended that a fuel pressure regulator is used with this pump.COMPETITION - A 12 volt negative earth pump with a flow rate of 28 gallons per hour and a delivery pressure of 7-10 psi. Ideal for fast road or competition cars up to 180 bhp.All of the kits are complete with a pre filter, fuel pipe adaptors for 8mm bore pipe and rubber mounting bobbins which reduce noise and vibration.
