The Expert Sleepers ESX-8MD mk2 is an expansion module that adds 8 MIDI/DINsync outputs to the Expert Sleepers ES-4 ES-40 or ES-5 modules. The ESX-8MD module provides you with more accurate timing than that of a normal USB/MIDI interface as the outputs are driven from an audio connection. By using Expert Sleepers ES-4/5 Controller software you can use the outputs on the ESX-8MD for MIDI output. This turns them into an actual MIDI port that is capable of sending MIDI messages. The Silent Way plug-in is used to send DINsync to the ESX-8MD for controlling hardware drum machines and synthesizers with your DAW. The signals are jitter-free and have sample-accurate timing.
