Etienne Guigal made his reputation initially with stunning wines from Cote Rotie – which not only made his name but also, in a way, that of the whole appellation. This success allowed them to expand throughout the Rhone, buying and reviving old domaines and vineyards. Well-positioned vineyards in Condrieu was one such purchase and Condrieu La Doriane is a stunning, richer version of the classic Condrieu style which possesses an incredible ability to age. La Doriane is Guigal’s luxury Condrieu cuvee and a stunning, richer version of the classic style with rich stone fruit intensity, round and bold texture, great finesse and minerality and an incredible ability to age.
