This has a tantalisingly Burgundian nose of creamy French oak, ripe pear, juicy pineapple and ghee. The palate shows fabulous, exciting balance, with freshness, richness, a hint of caramelised banana and superb concentration. Made from Verdelho and Viosinho, matured for six months in French oak barriques.
