This 75cl red wine from France is produced from 100% Pinot Noir and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. It has intense cherry and raspberry kirsch aromas on the nose, with a beautiful texture on the palate and surprising depth and power for a Pinot Noir. It's a full-bodied wine with rounded tannins, making it an excellent accompaniment to grilled meats, roast lamb and mature cheese. Drinking well now, it also shows some good ageing potential.
