Dom. Coquard Loison Fleurot Gevrey Chambertin Village Red Wine 75cLBy Winebuyers

£85

1 x 75cl. The triple-named estate of Dom. Coquard Loison Fleurot is based in Flagey, but with six Grand Cru holdings from Flagey to Gevrey. The current generation director is Claire Fleurot, and her talented young winemaker is Thomas Colladot. Thomas' mother is a Coquard, and from Morey, while the Loison side of the family is from Flagey. With a deep belief that great wines are created in the vineyard, Coquard-Loison-Fleurot has a stellar collection of Burgundian terroirs to work with, including Grands Echezeaux, Echezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, Clos de la Roche, Clos St Denis, and Charmes-Chambertin. The style is still evolving, with a light extraction and a delicate use of new oak that makes for elegant wines showing fruit purity and great terroir expressions. This wine is a red wine, made from a 2019 vintage, and is suitable for both men and women.
