Rich reddish-purple on the outside, paler inside, one of the deepest-coloured forms of Crocus tommasinianus. Whitewell Purple is a heirloom selection at 10cm, classified 1933. Outstanding for naturalising in grass and borders. Bee friendly. Flowers February.
