A deep ruby red, almost garnet in colour, this 2018 Chateau Pas Du Cerf Rouge is a round and harmonious wine. The nose is discreet and refined, opening with aromas of blackberry, cassis and black cherry, accompanied by subtle notes of mushrooms and spice. More black fruits on the palate, along with subtle leather and vegetal notes. This wine pairs well with duck fillet, lamb stew or chanterelle mushrooms. Made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvédre grapes, it has an ABV of 13.5% and is available in a 75cl size.
