The growing season was particularly wet, but some sun during the first week of the harvest improved the situation a little. I have always found Lanessan to be a consistently good Medoc wine. The next year it was awarded Cru Bourgeois Superieur. This wine is a typical blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The bottle is 75cl and has a good label, with the wine level at the high shoulder. The capsule has a little corrosion on the top.
