A merlot dominated wine, as with many other Pomerol's. 90% of the vineyard is planted with merlot. In 2000, the Chasseuil family took over the estate. In recent years it has been gaining critical acclaim. The 2011 vintage was said to be down to the skill of the wine makers after a tricky growing season. This wine is suitable for red meats, including duck and mushroom or truffle, and hard cheeses. The bottle is in good condition, with a good capsule and label, and the wine level is in the neck.
