Casanova di Neri's Brunello di Montalcino is a renowned wine produced since 1978. The winery, founded by Giovanni Neri in 1971, is known for its modern style of Brunello di Montalcino, characterized by concentrated luscious dark fruit, fine tannins, and succulent velvety oak complexity. The wine is often called 'the white label' to avoid confusion with other wines. The winery's son, Giacomo, took over in 1991, and the first harvest of Sangiovese fruit from the Le Cetine vineyard in southern Montalcino was harvested in 1993. The wine is a blend of Sangiovese fruit from various vineyards, including the Le Cetine vineyard. It is a unisex wine, suitable for both men and women, and is available in 75cl bottles.
