This new Cuvée Rare, with its stunning ruby red colour, comes from the exceptionally austere coastal terroir of Collioure. The nose is intense but not ostentatious, laden with red fruit, laurel, star anise and notes of humus. The palate opens incisively with bold, concentrated tannins, offering up juicy cherry, fragrant aniseed and dill, and a lovely menthol finish. This wine is a full-bodied red from France, made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes. It has an ABV of 14.5% and is available in a 75cl size. Suitable for both men and women, this wine is a great choice for those looking to try a new varietal.
