1 x 75cl. The producer, Brokenwood, was established in 1970 by three lawyers who became friends over drinking fine wines. They planted the original 4.5-hectare block to Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines quickly developed a strong following, and six new partners joined in 1978, allowing the purchase of the adjoining block, the Graveyard Vineyard. This vineyard is planted on deep clay soils, which gives the wines amazing depth and concentration. The winery's popularity and growth in production saw the arrival of a full-time winemaker in the early 1980s, along with new equipment, and the release of a Semillon. This wine is a Red Wine from the Hunter Valley, made from Shiraz grapes.
The Brokenwood Graveyard Vineyard Hunter Valley Shiraz 2009 Red Wine is a perfect fit for wine lovers seeking premium quality Australian Shiraz, specifically in regions like the Hunter Valley known for their rich, deep-colored red wines.
