Brecon Gin is a traditional juniper spirit, laced with coriander and revealing hints of spicy cinnamon. When taken neat, its big juniper flavour is prominent, but add a mixer and the citrus freshness of oranges and lemons appear, along with nutmeg, liquorice and angelica in a supporting role. This characteristic flavour combination works well with tonic, ice and lemon on a warm summer's day, but Brecon's traditional heritage is equally at home beside a roaring fire on a cold night, evoking memories of long hot summers past.
