During the ground-up design process our engineering team focused on three core performance tenets: Fit. Breathability. Value. Fit and breathability are amply handled via our Ventilated DH Air padding and the Ionic+™ Antimicrobial comfort liner which uses silver metalized yarn for helmet odor control. We spec'd the helmet with 14 vents to prioritize ventilation regardless of where the helmet is being ridden. Finally in addition to both ASTM Downhill and BMX certs we included Mips® to help reduce rotational forces in some impacts. We did all of this with you the privateer in mind.
