The standard type uses the CAN2 output from the PDM which means no other CAN2 connection is possible. If other CAN2 connections are required then you can use the pro keypad. This requires a CAN2 protocol to work but can be combined with other CAN2 devices. With the Pro keypad, typed output messages must be created to illuminate the button lights. An advantage of the Pro keypad is that the button lights can be illuminated by status variables or other sensors and can also be set to auto dim for night driving.Each of the buttons pre-sets are fully programmable using the free AIM Race Studio 3 analysis software.
