The Ahead 14" 3-Zone Workout Practice Pad is a practical portable drum practice solution from Ahead. Slotting simply on top of your snare drum into a snare stand or on any surface drummers can warm up anywhere. Featuring three separate playing surfaces the 3-Zone Workout Pad allows you to improve every aspect of your stick technique. The main pad surface has a firm rubber construction that gives a realistic rebound and response ideal for rehearsing most techniques. A small circular area is made of a super-soft gel-like material offering drastically reduced rebound which encourages strength and stamina improvements. The right hand circle is made of hard plastic requiring ultimate stick control. Two recessed areas on the pads reverse provide a wider range of response and tone and with a useful cut-out handle makes this an ideal tool for drumming warm-ups and workouts on the go.
